the eye has never seen, nor the ear heard, nor the mind imagined what God has in store for those who love Him
God reveals these things by His Spirit- all we can handle
v 12
received not the spirit of the world
John 17:16 “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
we have received the Spirit of God
Romans 8:15 “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!””
SO THAT we might undrstand the things freely given us by God.
