Post-WWII: China's Civil War & Mao's Early Years

Today’s lecture begins with a presentation from student, Johnny Brown, on Mao’s 1950s actions following his 1949 declaration of the People’s Republic of China. This is followed by a discussion of the Chinese Civil War and the Korean War.
