John 11:1-44
The events of Palm Sunday in John 12 did not happen in a vacuum. The masses came because of the resurrection of Lazarus. John 11 happened about a week before Palm Sunday. A look at each character in that story and how Jesus responded differently to each one shows how God considers each one’s situation, condition, and personality. Jesus ordered the crowd to remove the stone from the cave and to take off Lazarus’ grave clothes. We are all part of each other’s healing. Our renewal continues as we take part in community.
