Road to Emmaus: Luke 24:13-35 Jeremiah 17:9 In our story today we see a kind of pattern for the Christian life that I want to encourage us: -Bring/Share -Listen/Lean (in) -Apply Let me tell you WHY this is important - because as a Christian, you don’t have all the answers - but, you have access to God who does, and who is for you. Isn’t that better? At the end of the day, you know you don’t have the answers, that’s why we pray - that’s why we go to bed at night, and trust that our heart will beat and our lungs will breathe, because we rest in God. Even if you don’t know and love God, you trust in His work, and in his sustainment. John 16:7 Have you ever had your heart burn within you as you opened scripture? Let that be your goal, approach your study with expectation and desire for your heart to burn within you - what awaits? Ephesians 6 We aren’t called to fit in with the world, but to stand out. John 13:35 WIll you come to God in His word, nt through this fractured culture Vision
