When It’s Too Easy: Luke 24:50-51 Mark 14:60-62 Luke 7:19 John 1:31 And so, as we come to our text - today, I want us to ask this question, why would be need to be MORE sure? THE GREATEST EVENT IN HISTORY We have to be willing to be blown away by God, willing to work to see it, willing to question and work to find God. In fact, if knowing God were easy - we’d have a problem with: Philippians 4:13 Why would I need strength? Matthew 7:7 Why would I seek, and knock for something to be given to me that I already had? Taking the mystery of God, and over simplifying it - and taking away the mystery and awe, cheapens it. The mystery of Christ is amazing, we’re to marvel Colossians 1:26 Ephesians 3:4 Ready for certainty, and mystery in balance, which is the receipt for awe, lets come to our passage: Luke 4:1 Luke 24:50-51 Numbers 6:23-27 Numbers 6
