In Genesis 13, Abraham trusts God to keep his promise to provide, and therefore he's able to be generous. Because of the generosity of Jesus, God promises to provide for all Christians. In Christ he can help us to trust him to keep this promise, thus freeing us to be generous with our time, money and possessions.
