Pencils and people

Today I have pencils. We use pencils everyday. To draw pictures, write numbers and spell words. Did you know that pencils are like people?

Look at these. . . How are they like people?

Come in all sizes, colors.

One more important way pencils are like people. Look at the top – erasers.

Why?

So that mistakes can be erased.

People make mistakes everyday. The bible calls our mistakes sin. The Bible says that God wants to erase your mistakes. God promised that when we ask him he will erase our sins.

Let’s pray now and ask God to erase our sins.
