The gospel gives humility. (8)

How to tell if you are truly a Child of God:

1.Alive people are different from dead people.

2.Children of God do not need to be told to spend time with their Creator and Savior.

3.The handywork of God does not seek the credit for themselves.

What does the gospel give purpose for?

Vocation, and reaching people

Define talents.

Something you are good at and or have a knack for.

Define gifts.

Abilities given to you by God through the Holy Spirit for the cause of bringing God glory.

There is no need for humility, as long as God equips me I can be as arrogant as I want to and still do the Lord’s work. (True/False)

False: God does not work through those who think higher of themselves than they ought. Remember, God’s work has to be done in you before it can be done through you.

Do I need to spend time reading my bible and in prayer?

Only if you are born again is this a necessity, if you are not I would still advise this.

I do not really have to live by God’s words/commands. After all He gives me grace when I sin. (True/False)

False:God does give grace when we sin but this does not give us the go ahead and sin just so we can be forgiven.

talents do not become gifts until God gets a hold of you and changes your attitude from how can I use my talents for me, to how can I use my gifts for God.
