today today I really want you to open up your spirit to to this word open up your spirit to this word. And the reason I say that is sometimes when you get into the Theology of the word it can get a little heady, you know up here in your head and stuff, but I really want you to open up and and and saying your spirit God as the word is going forth. Let me receive what you have for me. Let me receive what you have for me and what God has for each and everyone of us will be a little different but trust me when the world goes for we can all grab something a men how did in our hearts and live closer for the forgotten the kingdom a man? So the foundational scriptures and messages I am anticipating. I am anticipating a deeper walk with the Holy Spirit. And are foundational scriptural come from 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verses 9 through 15, ask that you stand up. I know it's going to be in a lot of folks don't read but I love reading the word of God Amen. And so if you stand we're going to read that together and this will come from the new King James version translation of the Bible and beginning with verse 9. Let's treat that together. But as it is written I Has Not Seen Nor Ear heard nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love and now most people would stop right there and Shout amen, but we going to continue on because I want the word of God to speak to our heart. Let's continue. But God has revealed them to us through his spirit for the spirit searches all things. Yes, the Deep things of God. Or what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him even so no one knows the things of God, except the spirit of God. Now, we have received not the spirit of the world, but the spirit who was from God that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God these things. We also speak not in Words, which man's Wisdom teaches. But which the Holy Spirit teaches comparing spear. Which spiritual but the natural man does not receive the things of the spirit of God for they are foolishness to him nor can he know them because they are spiritually discerned but he who is spiritual judges all things yet. He himself is rightly Judge by I know why now now there's a lot to that and I'm praying the holy spirit will let us get to the end cuz I'm telling you some good stuff. Amen. It's all the title of our Series has been called your position in Christ your position in Christ and over the last couple of weeks. We have dealt with the position of being accepted the position of being adopted and last week we dealt with the position of being redeemed until today. I want to look at anticipation amen. But in order for us to get to the scripture that we just read we got to go back and set the foundation. Okay, we need to set the foundation. So it in the scripture in 1st Corinthians. Paul is teaching the church at Corinth. It so he's there in in in in in verse and chapter one. He's dealing with some issues in the church and the issues in the church that he's dealing with basically who should be the pastor the church. What they should be talking about and who did more for the church who was in that leadership position. So if you go through and you look at First Corinthians and in chapter one is my go-to verse 11 go to verse 11 1st Corinthians chapter 1 verse 11, if you can put put that up it's on there.

It says I already Wiley find it. It says in 1st Corinthians chapter 1 verse 11. It says for it has been declared to me concerning you my brother and buy those of Chloe's house that there are contention among you now. I say this that each of you says I am appalled or I am of Apollo's or I am of cephas or I am of Christ Church. He says is Christ divided. Was Paul crucified for you or were you baptized in the name of Paul? And so what he saying is everybody wants to be a part of something in in in although they were using names back then today if I'm a Baptist. I'm a Pentecostal. I'm at this I'm going to end in the reality is this where any of those founders of those Church? Did they die for you? Where they crucified for you and so so so Paul is asking the same thing to the Church of Corinth that we can ask if they will get caught up in all of this denominational stuff and when we stop and think about it, none of them folks die for you. Nobody was crucified for you yet. We claim. I'm the this and I'm the dad and I need to be a part of this and I need to park and it has nothing to do with the reality because it was all about Christ. Is the Church of Corinth in Pawleys to say wait, you guys are getting caught up in the wrong thing you getting caught up in people. Was that me was me? I'm like, I'm here myself. If they understood what the preaching was about, they would understand that it was all about Christ. It's so contentions in the church can be handled when you have solid preaching or solid teaching because the teaching of the preaching will always be about Christ. Is that make sense? It's so then Paul continues on and we fine in 1st Corinthians chapter 2 beginning with verse 1. He says to the church and I love this as a pastor. I love this because it takes pressure off of me dear brothers and sisters when I came to you I did not come. Show me. Secret with fancy words or a show up human wisdom. I didn't come in my flesh. That's what he saying trying to impress you, right? He said I decided that while I was with you. About everything except Jesus Christ and his death on the cross.

He didn't says he said so when I came to you, I was weak and fearful and trembling my teaching and preaching were not with words of human wisdom that persuade people but with of the power that the spirit gives and so Paul said when I came to you I didn't come in my fancy. Jargon and my my my biblical knowledge of my theological. He says I came to you and I dropped everything else but Christ Jesus. and him crucified

they have been used to a lot of folks coming with their intellect in their Cara charismatic thought process and speaking and it and we're being rude by these folks. Oh my God, you can grab them when you put them in.

And when we take man out of the situation or circumstances we should get to Jesus Christ and him crucified. Does that make sense?

my teaching and preaching were not with words of human wisdom that persuade people but with proof of the power that the spirit gives This was so that your face now hear me out. This was so that your face would be in God's power and not in human wisdom. Sometimes we can get caught up in people and what they're doing or not doing but when the focus is always on God, then we can operate and power. Amen.

I didn't get anything from that Pastor. Paul said if you operating in your flesh you will not get anything. This is why I preface this by saying I want to speak to your spirit. Because if I'm talking to your friends to flash this won't make sense to you and it's designed not to make sense to your flesh, but it won't make sense to your spirit. Does that make sense? I speak of wisdom and wisdom spirit that can only be understood by those who are mature is not from the the world. Can you can hear a lot of fancy stuff in and today with social media? Everybody can be a philosopher. Everybody can be an expert and put your little piece on and get a whole bunch of followers. something and that's all human wisdom. Did you put something on spiritual they won't follow it? You won't get any likes and so you have to jump around and get stuff. That will will.

Listen, I need you to understand. I'm not talking about your flesh here. I'm talking about your spirit.

for your spirit Is that makes sense? Because this is the wisdom that's going to get you through trying times when folks don't like your your message your text or your little thing and you can still stand up and say I know I'm still right because I know this came from the from the from God Amen y'all pray for me.

The Texas but this wisdom is not from this world or from the rulers of this world who are losing their power. Paul says I speak God's secret wisdom.

Which he has kept hidden. Before the world began God plan this wisdom for our Glory. None of the rulers of this world understood if they had they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.

I'm anticipating a time when I'm operating in spiritual wisdom 100% of the time. Not man's Wisdom or not worldly wisdom, but spiritual wisdom.

The Bible and I don't have to question what the Bible says what the Bible says. I move on what the Bible says. I walk on what the Bible says understand what the Bible says in hell what the Bible says? Best spiritual wisdom you don't I don't have to go to a group of people and say is this what God says, I know because I know I'm Spirit minded and spiritually mature. Does that make sense? Do we need a church that died? Paul says, I need to talk to a mature spiritual people a man because God has something for you, but the world won't understand when he tells you the moving open up that restaurant or open up that business or go on a mission trip, then you have to move and you cannot you cannot sit around and question on what was that from God?

Does that make sense? It's a spiritual maturity.

now in verse number 9 it says but as it is written.

Which means it's already in the Bible. Not anytime you see in the text as it is written. You can always find words written in the Old Testament. Are you with me? the ball says as it is written. I have not seen. Nor Ear heard You have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him because they for everybody.

Yeah, I miss that y'all missed it, you know folks wondering why they not being blessed cuz you don't love him. What we have and what he's going to give to us is for those who love him. Does that make sense? Okay. Alright. He prefaced by saying as it is written. So it is found in Isaiah chapter 64. And Isaiah chapter 64 the prophets is for since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear nor has has the I seen any God beside you who asked for the one who waits for him. Who acts on behalf of the one who waits for them who loves him. This is for those of us who are spiritually mature and who love the Lord we got in the folks like that in the house. We got to love the Lord in the house. Give God some praise if you love the Lord God got something for you a man. There's there's a wisdom for you that the world won't understand. Does that make sense?

When you grow up and you on the ministry, you go to Bible school and they teach a certain Doctrine and a belief system my training in my journey had Jesus and God but it left out the Holy Spirit not in the sense of I know the holy spirit. Is there a intellectually I know it's there but the depth of the Holy Spirit and I think many of us have not understood the depth of the Holy Spirit. I'm not talking about the holy spirit that makes you jump to it making you cry, you know that I'm talking about the holy spirit that teaches

Hey, man, we when we think of the Holy Spirit we think of emotional stuff. Hey, man, we think of all I shall deny jumping I said, how was yes, that's the Holy Spirit, but I'm talking to that sit you down and poured the wisdom of God into you that I don't think we have a good grasp of and I think we leave a lot on the table a man that belongs to us and we keep running for the emotional stuff and there's nothing wrong with jumping and shouting trust me I jump in shower and clapping raise my hair. But that's only one portion of the holy spirit. Amen. Are you with me? Jesus called the Holy Spirit the spirit of Truth.

and John 417 he says the spirit of Truth whom the world cannot receive.

Jesus says we have something that God has given to us that the world can't receive. Man, I feel special right there. I told you I'm going to be a superhero it man. Can I have? I don't have. And if you if you really got a hold of that. If you really grasp who you are you would not worry about what folks in the world have because you have more than what they will ever have. Does that make sense?

When Jesus said the holy spirit is the spirit of Truth what that says to me is the holy spirit is absolutely free of error.

Let me let that resonate with you. The holy spirit is the spirit of Truth therefore. He is absolute.

So if he says it to you if he gives it to you, it's the truth.

This is why I said I need to speak to your spirit because your flesh will be like well and you know what I saw in this one time where I asked the holy goats for something and it really didn't happen the way I thought it should happen.

We, justifying everything. Because our minds won't accept it. Our flesh won't accept it, but you let somebody from the world tell you or you're great. You're absolutely amazing and hear the things you need to do to be awesome. You know, what you need to do.

We are more likely to do that then to listen to what the holy spirit says to us. Because our flesh desires the world. But our spirit is fighting for the truth. Does that make sense? Y'all pray for me? Okay. Alright. Here's what I believe the more we have of the Holy Spirit, the more will recognize the truth. The less will operate and send an error. Let's try this again. The more of the Holy Spirit. I have the more operating the less C and I will have and the less errors. I'll make The more Holy Spirit I have the more I allow him to operate than me the less then I will have the less errors. I will make the more Holy Spirit I have the more I allow him to operate in me the less sending me the less errors. I'll do does that make sense? Because the holy spirit is the spirit of Truth and I'm allowing the spirit of Truth to operate on me. I'm going to have less send. Does that make sense? I never said I was going to be perfect, but I will operate unless send does that make sense? Tell your neighbor what you need more of the spirit of Truth. Now I'm not saying don't don't again. Tell your neighbor receive that in your spirit. Is she going she going to look at me and say I need you need you know?

And so they're like, oh my gosh. You're just amazing. How can you?

Wheels or wants to do his will he shall know concerning the doctor in the Bible whether it is from God or whether I speak on my own authority. All you have to do is search the scriptures. It'll tell you whether it's me who's

You haven't been in the situation where God is told you to open up the word in the answer that you needed was right there in the scripture you struggling and struggling and struggling and then when you quit fighting and you submit it and you allowed the Holy Spirit to lead you to believe that you write to the answer that you needed a man you got relationship problems. The answer is there you got financial problems. The answer is that you got health issues. The answer is you got people from the answers that everything you need is right there in the word of God and we stress and struggle because we're trying to figure it out from a fleshly perspective and worse Spirit beings. A man, so he said to Jesus says if you want to know if it's whether it's on my own authority go search the scripture in the message translation. It says that John 7:17 says anyone who wants to do his will. Can test this teaching and know whether it's from God or whether I'm making it up? Is right there. 2nd Peter chapter 1 and I need y'all say we're in the spirit. Say we're in the spirit wear in the spirit. Okay. Speak to my spirit right now. Speak to my spirit right now.

2nd Peter chapter 1 verse 8 for if these things are yours and abound you will be neither Barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The new century version translation says if all these things are in you meaning the wisdom of God the Holy Spirit the spirit of Truth and are growing they will help you to be useful and productive in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Does that make sense?

We have to have the foundation or Foundation of faith. And then we have to have a desire to live right amen live, right? And then he says we have to have knowledge. You know that the Bible says people perish. Do it like knowledge. Not money not friends. Not fame not Fortune, but I'm not lack of knowledge. And so when I say I'm speaking to your spirit, I'm not send grab this knowledge so that you can put other people down but that you can draw closer to God. Does that make sense? That's so that my life now becomes a living testimony who God is in my life that makes sense. He says he says you need some self-control and some patience and some godliness and some love some brotherly affection. You need to grow because if you don't do that in verse 9 of that text said those who fail to develop in this way or short-sighted or blind forgetting that they have been clean from there we'll send and here's a challenge when you don't operate like that you keep running back to what God has delivered you from

You keep going back to what makes your flesh feel comfortable a man when God is clearly called you out of that and said and says to each one of us. Here's what I wanted to put on. I want you to put on. Does that make sense?

All things that I said to you. This is why it's important for us to have the Holy Spirit cuz you know what the holy spirit is going to do. He's going to teach

the holy spirit is going to teach C. Don't lie. I know pastor. I don't care what church you win and I'm telling you this as the responsibilities that you have is for you to allow the Holy Spirit to teach you. It's for you to study the word of God not to be arrogant, but to be an example amen. And so when we we shun our responsibility and we want to give it to someone else and say it. Called me to do. So the Bible says the holy spirit will teach. Each one of us the truth. Does that make sense? We have been brought up in churches that think the priest the pastor the Evangelist the whatever you want to that title. Is there responsible for no. The holy spirit will teach you? A man the Holy Spirit teaches me when I open myself up to receive the truth. That's why I say I need to speak to your spirit. The holy spirit is ready. He's my helper to help me understand stuff that is confusing to me. He's there to help me not make the mistakes. I used to make sure he's there to help me understand people and their challenges and circumstances. The holy spirit is there to teach you can't parent unless the Holy Spirit teaches you you can't be a wife or a husband and let the Holy Spirit teaches you you can't be a follower of Christ and let the Holy Spirit teaches you you can't be a man and woman of God let the Holy Spirit teaches you you can't walk right unless the Holy Spirit teaches you you can't talk while I let the Holy Spirit. You can't do anything of your own let the Holy Spirit teaches you does that make sense.

Bow to call themselves Christians struggling because the Holy Spirit they will not allow the Holy Spirit to teach them. They will not allow the Holy Spirit the p*** to that area that is all dark and damp and nasty and ugly. So the light to be signed in and they can be changed. They won't do it in their struggle and I'll say well this is I guess this is what God has for me. Show me in the Bible where the what God wants you to be broken and and downtrodden poor. No show it to me where God says that It is not there. What it says we're not allowing ourselves to submit to allowing the Holy Spirit to teach us the truth. Does that make sense?

The holy spirit is loving and patient.

But I'm telling you when he's trying to show you something open up your eyes and let him speak to you. Amen. Someone said to me. Couple years ago. I was sitting in the conference. Someone said to me if what you thought to be true turned out not to be true. When would you want to know?

immediately, right if what I thought to be true turned out not to be too, but I want to know. I want to know right now and I'm telling it is your responsibility to allow the Holy Spirit to teach you. That's why it's here. That's why Jesus left and sent the Holy Spirit to teach us because he knows when we're away from these four walls. All the problems all the challenges all the concern and he's there to help you through this.

Why and then I said well, thank you. God Amen why some people shouldn't be in your life and certain people come in your life and in certain people leave. There's a reason why even though you want to hold on to him. They're not supposed to be there. The only supposed to get you there for a certain season. A man and see if he was still lamenting about stuff that happened to them 20 years ago Let It Go. The Holy Spirit knows what's right a man and end of God move them out of your life. And if for some reason I don't know who this is for if God is moving someone out of the light. Please don't let him back in because God has designed for them. They did what they were supposed to do and they are gone. We're starting up a Thursday night bible study same place same time, but it's going to be on Thursday night. So that some people say one pass. I can't make it on Tuesday night. So we going to have one on Thursday night and Raymond and Angie Angie they're going to facilitate that and it'll be fun a man. I won't be there because the holy spirit is I'm about developing people. Amen. I'm really about developing people. So they're going to do it if it's irritated. And here's what I know and I've already talked to him. They're going to be expecting others to take on the lead to facilitate classes as well. So we're all going to learn and grow how to facilitate. Invite someone to Sunday worship service a man.
