FBR exist to glorify God by making fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who worship and exalt Him in all things. We strive to fufill this purpose as we: devote ourselves to the preaching, study, and application of God's word; seek the Lord in earnest prayer; experience the power of authentic, life-changing fellowship; and engage our culture and the world with the gospel of Christ.

vv35-36 includes what we’re starting: discipleship. Discipleship is from Him and through Him and to Him. Discipleship is not first offered to God that we might be paid back because of it. It is first given by God (through His Word) that we might benefit from it (as we obey God) and that He might be glorified through it.
