Acts 1:8 NLT
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
We will then see how this continues to be fulfilled as we see today the story of how Saul, later known as Paul, is completely transformed to share the Good News of the living Christ.
First, we begin by looking at the fact that Paul was chosen before it even seemed likely, or even possible to people.

Conclusion

Summary

God chose Saul even when it did not seem like it to everyone else. He was God’s “chosen instrument”. ()
God used Ananias to bring about the transformation of Paul even though he could have done so himself.
Lastly, God can transform us to the point where although we may look the same on the outside, there is evidence of complete renovation in our conviction.

Application

Sometimes we may wonder if God has chosen us. To tell you the truth he has chosen all of us to carry out the mission of sharing the message of reconciliation with him to those who do not know it.

Not only does he choose us to be his instruments, but we are to be used to transform others just like Ananias.
Lastly, people will know we are different when we have a complete renewal.
2 Corinthians 4:16 NLT
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.
2 Cor
Ephesians 4:23 NLT

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
