Every life bears fruit of some kind. The question is, what kind of fruit does your life produce? Perhaps an even more fundamental question is, how do you know what Gospel fruit looks like in the life of a believer? The Thessalonian church was already known for its brotherly love toward one another, a sure sign that the Gospel was at work in their lives, but Paul did not want them to become content. He wanted to encourage these believers to strive to produce more fruit, not as a way to bring attention to themselves or as a means by which to leverage God for greater personal blessings, but rather so that they could be an even greater witness to the transformative power of the Gospel in their lives. We invite you to join us as we examine “Gospel Fruit” in 1 Thess. 4:9-12.
