Am I The One To Stand In The Gap?
The Men March Theme! (Explain) Basic journalism 5 W’s…WHO? WHAT? WHEN? WHY ? WHERE/ AND SOMETIMES How? Questions….WHY WAS GOD LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO STAND IN the gap? . (NLT)
23 Again a message came to me from the LORD :
24 “Son of man, give the people of Israel this message: In the day of my indignation, you will be like a polluted land, a land without rain.
25 Your princes plot conspiracies just as lions stalk their prey. They devour innocent people, seizing treasures and extorting wealth. They make many widows in the land.
26 Your priests have violated my instructions and defiled my holy things. They make no distinction between what is holy and what is not. And they do not teach my people the difference between what is ceremonially clean and unclean. They disregard my Sabbath days so that I am dishonored among them.
27 Your leaders are like wolves who tear apart their victims. They actually destroy people’s lives for money!
28 And your prophets cover up for them by announcing false visions and making lying predictions. They say, ‘My message is from the Sovereign LORD,’ when the LORD hasn’t spoken a single word to them.
29 Even common people oppress the poor, rob the needy, and deprive foreigners of justice.
30 “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.NOW!!!!!Pls just give me about 10 minutes……
Fast forward to HOW to become the person to stand in the Gap!!!
Paul of Tarsus. A Pharosee of Pharosee. Taught by Gamille.. some will say he is the most prominent man in the New Testament Paul wrote 13 of the New Testament letters. Paul is the only conversion so crucial to church history that God caused 4 full length accounts to be recorded, though slightly different in details.. background
As with all the New Testament letters written by Paul the apostle, this epistle is titled according to its first recipients, in this case the Christians in Rome. Paul wrote : “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.” The Greek noun translated “righteousness” is dikaiosune. It is closely related to the verb dikaioo, usually translated “justify.” This book is a long theological argument about how unrighteous sinners may receive right standing with God (are justified). Righteousness with God is given freely (imputed) to all those who have faith in Jesus Christ for salvation according to God’s eternal plan.

Paul wrote to the Roman Christians in order to give them a substantial resume of his theology. This epistle stands as Paul’s “theological self confession.Romans is greatest doctrinal presentation of salvation in the Bible, Romans touches on almost every element of a Christian worldview. Above all, in Romans God is supreme in all matters of salvation, which serves his glory and the good of his people.Salvation is a concept that includes past, present, and future. For individual believers, Christ has saved from the penalty of sin (justification, chaps. 4–5); he is saving from the power of sin (sanctification, chaps. 6–7); and he will save from the presence of sin (glorification, chap. 8).Paul the apostle, about a.d. 57
Subject The A.B. C’s of Becoming the person to stand in the Gap…

Before Jesus can do anything for us ; The first thing we need to do is admit we need help…Admit To grant to be real, valid, or true; acknowledge or concede: To disclose or confess (guilt or an error To acknowledge…. Admit that you are lost.. Admit you are a SINNER.. Admit you need to repent. Admit you need a Savior… The A.B.C’s of becoming that someone to stand in the Gap.. After you Admit our short commings, then we must BELIEVE . In the New Testament, the gospel is the good news and Jesus is our Jonah. It is essential to “believe” (pisteuo in Greek), to trust, that God has acted in Christ (). Jesus urges us to not fear, but simply believe the gospel (). John wrote his entire gospel to show us and help us to believe that Jesus was the promised Messiah (). Furthermore, Paul confirms the true mark of the Christian as one who believes that God has raised Christ from the dead (). God wants us to lead the way in believing in Him, but that also means taking the message faithfully to others, even those like the Ninevites who seem destined for destruction because of their sinful ways.We must believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead. Then we will be saved… Because out of the aboundance of the heat the mouth Now that we have (1) Admiteed we need a Savior.. (2) We believe in our herts that God raised Jesus from the Dead. …Now! We must confess……speaks…().you CONFEES “Confess, confess!” Sounds like an interrogation scene, doesn’t it? The word does have this negative connotation, but it also has a positive one. Confess means to declare affirmatively what one believes in. The Greek word homologeō literally means “saying the same thing”—that is, affirming one’s agreement with a particular spiritual reality. We confess that we are sinners, and we confess (affirm) that Jesus is the Savior. These two kinds of confession occur in the Bible. First, individuals confess that they have sinned and are therefore guilty before God. Second, they confess that Jesus is Lord. One confession often leads to the other.[1] We Confess our fault to one another. We need to confess our sins to God… The Word says says “ But if we confess our sins to Jesus that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. The A. B. C of becoming someone to stand in the Gap..

There you have it!!!! This is how one become someone to stand in the Gap?? Simply SAYING it another way….” YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN””’ salvation is as close to to our own lips and hearts. People think it must be a complicated process, but it is not. Simply we must ADMIT we need a Savior. BELIEVE in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead with all power in His hand…. Then we say it with our mouth that Christ is the risen Lord, we will be saved… NOW THERE ARE ABOUT 75 BLESSINGS THAT HAPPENS TO US WHEN WE GET SAVED.. But I will only share 7 with you because of the time,,, Theses blessing a Scripturally sound in The Word …(1) We have access to God’s Grace….(2) We are adopted by God…..(3) We become the Sons of God (4) We have a heavenly citizenship (5) We are joint heirs with Christ Jesus (6) 9^0 We become new creatures in Christ Jesus (7) Names written in the Lamb’s book of Life.. in our heart5
Now that you are save and you know some of your eternal blessing….One last helpful advice..(1) Tell others about your decisions as sonn as possible (2) continue to pray for the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit. (3) Study god’s Word daily without exception (4) Become accountable to a spiritual mentor (5) Continue to be hungry and thirsty for righteousness (6) Connect with a chuch that teaches Spiritual Growth, freedom and deliverance from sin……List not inclusive, but enough to point you to the light……
