MESSAGE: In preparation for his public ministry, God led His Son into the wilderness. He was tempted in what He suffered, and we will be, too. Yet, Jesus stood (where Adam fell), and that is our great hope, too. SERIES: The wilderness is not mere wandering and it's not simply judgment for past sin. The trials of the wilderness are also preparation for the adversity and abundance that lie ahead.

Key Idea: In preparation for his public ministry, God led His Son into the wilderness. (The wilderness is not just wandering, it is purposeful preparation.) Jesus was tempted in what He suffered. (This is Satan’s tactic, to offer us an easy way out of our pain.) Yet, Jesus stood where Adam fell. (That is our great hope, too. We may stand under the tests and temptations because Jesus lives in us.)
