TNCC Verse
Psalm 86:8–10 ESV
8 There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours. 9 All the nations you have made shall come and worship before you, O Lord, and shall glorify your name. 10 For you are great and do wondrous things; you alone are God.

Blessed Assurance
Theme
The assurance of Gods blessings come from Him alone.
Pray
God our Father sometimes we doubt you, often we doubt ourselves as well. We question our faith, we question your provision, we question your goodness. We read your word one day and then doubt your promises the next! God help us to trust you, to have peace in you, and to find our assurance in Jesus Christ. You have made it clear before that it is in you that we are saved, please speak again today to us and give us the assurance that we so often crave.
Amen

Theme - Argument
The assurance of Gods blessings come from Him alone.
Esau was unworthy of God’s blessing through Isaac
he did not earn it
he did not deserve it
he was not destined for it
Jacob was unworthy of God’s blessing through Isaac
he did not earn it
he did not deserve it
it was not legally his
but he wanted it
but he received it
but there was an assurance of it
Esau was assured that Jacob was blessed
Isaac was assured that Jacob was blessed
Jacob was assured of God’s blessing
We are unworthy of God’s blessing through Isaac
we cannot earn it
we do not deserve it
it is not legally ours
but we want it
but we need it
but it is offered to us
but if we have it we can be assured of it
Do you want to have a blessed assurance in God? Do you have this assurance in Christ? Do you have His salvation?

COMMUNION
What it stands for
1 Corinthians 11:23–26 ESV
23 For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
Warning
1 Corinthians 11:27–29 ESV
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
Communion Verses
Matthew 26:26 ESV
26 Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
Matthew 26:27–28 ESV
27 And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, 28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
COMMUNION TOGETHER
Fellowship With Each Other
Acts 2:42–47 ESV
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
