4. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
5. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
6. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
7. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
8. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

c). Let..... .
d). Ask..... .
What Is An "Imperative"...
Is giving an authoritative Command...
In Grammar ... It denote the mood of a verb which expresses "a command" or "Exhortation"... for example as in "come here"
PS: Let Us Consider These Four "Imperatives"
I. COUNT IT ALL JOY... WHEN YOU FALL INTO VARIOUS TRIALS.....

1). He did not Say "IF" But "When" Therefore It Expected That We Will Have Trials.
a). What does The Scriptures Says In .

B). What Should Be The Christian's Response? We Must "Count" All Joy....
1). Because this was The Attitude Of The Apostles And Early Christians.
(ESV)
40. And when they had called in the apostles, they beat them and charged them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
41. Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name.
How Did They Left The Council?
Rejoicing ... Counting It Worthy To Suffer For The Name Of Jesus...
They Count It All Joy... For what Was done to them.
(ESV)
3. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Why did These Christians Rejoice In Their Suffering?
Knowing That Their suffering produces "Endurance"...
So To We can turn Our trials or suffering Into Triumph, By counting All Joy... Just As They Did.
II. " Knowing That The Testing Of Your Faith Produces Patience... .
A). The Right Knowledge Concerning The Value Of Trials Makes The Difference.

b). And When Our Faith Is tested... Can Bring Out The Best In Us.
i). (ESV)
7. So that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Peter Is Saying That When We Are Tested It Will Show,How genuine Our Faith Is!
Which is More Precious Than gold that perishes...
When It is Tested by fire... It is Only through this process That Gold Is refined...
And It Is only through trials That One Is tested to show How genuine Our Faith Is...
Which will result In Praise, and Glory and Honor At The revelation Of Jesus Christ.
ii). Just As Fire Purifies Gold... So To Training make The Athlete Stronger...

Our English Words "Endurance" & "Patience" Come fro the Gr, word "hypomone" {hypo/mo/ne}
Carries the idea of steadfast endurance... Having The power to withstand hardship or stress; especially The inward fortitude that Is necessary.

Instead Of Grumbling & Complaining... Just Patiently Endure The trials...
It Is Then And Only Then It will Have its Full Effect.
B). For when Patience Has Had An Opportunity To Work, It Produces Growth & Maturity?
The Word "Perfect" Does Not Mean "Sinlessness", But "Completeness"
Completeness Is Used In The NT ... For those Who have attained Spiritual Maturity Or Manhood In Christ.
Therefore Having Reach Spiritual Manhood or Maturity In Spiritual Matters.
We Will Be No Longer babes And Immature People Being In Christ.
Such Maturity Only Comes When "Patience" Had Time to Work, through Our Trials.
