He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws. 34 At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation;
Hosea 2:5–7 ESV
5 For their mother has played the whore; she who conceived them has acted shamefully. For she said, ‘I will go after my lovers, who give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.’ 6 Therefore I will hedge up her way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, so that she cannot find her paths. 7 She shall pursue her lovers but not overtake them, and she shall seek them but shall not find them. Conclusion:

Judgment on ungodly individuals

The nature of God’s judgment is that it is certain, you will not escape His judgment. God’s judgment is righteous and it is impartial. You will get a fair outcome with God and man will be without excuse.
God is not judging because He is mad or angry. His judgment has a purpose. His judgment displays His glory; it vindicates the righteous; defends the weak; brings salvation; punishes sin; and turns people back to Him. There is a purpose for you being here today that you might hear the judgment of God and avoid a sentence of eternity without Him.
Acts 12:23 ESV
23 Immediately an angel of the Lord struck him down, because he did not give God the glory, and he was eaten by worms and breathed his last.
God has not been hasty with His judgment but time is not a gamble you want to make. You must make haste and believe God at His word before it will be too late.

Judgment on peoples and nations

Luke 6:47–49 ESV
47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. 49 But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”
Joel 3:12–13 ESV
12 Let the nations stir themselves up and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. 13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Go in, tread, for the winepress is full. The vats overflow, for their evil is great.
