How can we live in the promise of God ? Live as one of God’s children!

If we are convinced that this is how we are destined to live, than we will not hope or desire or look for another alternative.
Identity- Who am I? The race to define humanity
Numbers 14:3 NIV
Why is the Lord bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?”
Is my existence just a biological construct, whose genetic and biological organisms determine all behaviour? or is their an immaterial existence that can’t be determined by science yet? Christians call this the soul which is unique to every individual and has the will, emotions, volition (the ability to choose), mind and personality of a person. When this soul reaches out towards God we call this our Spirit. (Body/soul=Holistic Dualism)
Exodus 3:7-8
What is the current condition of Human morality?
I love the innocence of a small child, however it is inevitable that the state of moral innocence of a human will be compromised. Eventually a human will make a decision that is desirable for themselves but harmful to another person or oneself. Christians believe that this begun in the first relationships ever formed with Adam and eve and God in the Garden of eden. The effect of the fall is that man now knows Good and evil but chooses to live in the dark. However you look at the origin of man’s moral failure, we now posses the power of moral choice which is not present in any other life form.
On what foundation/principles are we now going to make choices? Who is going to decide what is Good or bad?
If humans are so good at this why have we failed miserably so far?
Who am I? Am I a child of the living God? or am I just stranger to him? You are loved by God and his promise is to lead you, guide you, and deliver you to everlasting life.
You are loved by God and his promise is to lead you, guide you, and deliver you to everlasting life.
Exodus 3:7 NIV
The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.
Exodus 3:8 NIV
So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.
