To recognize the importance of the church in the Christian life
Hebrews 10:
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence for the entrance into the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way which he inaugurated for us through the curtain, that is, his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us approach with a true heart in the full assurance of faith, our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who promised is faithful. 24 And let us think about how to stir one another up to love and good works, 25 not abandoning our meeting together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging each other, and by so much more as you see the day drawing near.

Yet God composed the body by giving more abundant honor to the part which lacked it, 25 in order that there not be a division in the body, but the members would have the same concern for one another. 26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer together; if a member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members of it individually, 28 and whom God has appointed in the church: first, apostles, second, prophets, third, teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, administrations, kinds of tongues. 29 Not all are apostles, are they? Not all are prophets, are they? Not all are teachers, are they? Not all are workers of miracles, are they? 30 Not all have gifts of healing, do they? Not all speak with tongues, do they? Not all interpret, do they? 31 But strive for the greater gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.

It has been excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 28 For we consider a person to be justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Romans3:10-28

Although the doors had been shut, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said, “Peace to you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Place your finger here and see my hands, and place your hand and put it into my side. And do not be unbelieving, but believing!” 28 Thomas answered and said to him, “My Lord and my God!” 29 Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, have you believed? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” 30 Now Jesus also performed many other signs in the presence of the disciples which are not recorded in this book, 31 but these things are recorded in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

These verses tells who Jesus is and that He is the only way to the Father.
When we receive Him and believe Him, He gives us the authority to be come childre of God.
In demonstrating His Love for us Jesus died for us !

Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. Let him in. He wants to come in and live eternally with us..

What do you think is the most important way in which Jesus Christ is different from other people?
He is the Son of God…Seated at the right hand of God interceeding for me. Gave His life so that I may have eternal life.
What does that mean to me.
I now have eternal life and will reign with Him.....
How does that effect my life?
I can rest assure that all that I need on this earth is in Jesus !!1
Who is Jesus to you?
He is savior of the world. My Lord and my God..
What has he given me?
Vivtory over my enemy, but most important eternal life.
Why do you suppose Jesus enemiess did not want to believe His claims about who He was?
He did not come in the form of a conqueror; Nothing good comes out of Nazereth
Why did Jesus friends, who had watched Him die believe in the resurrection?\\
Because Jesus had told them, He would rise on the 3 rd day.....And the Old Testament pointed to His resurrection.
