Love compels us to change our perspective.

The correct view has power to change everything about our walk...
The hunger of one’s heart must change - and that hunger is not to do good things. It’s recognizing the need to be forgiven from God himself.
Why do we do what we do?
When we read /5, Gal, Col…what is the driving force to compel our hearts to want to be the person the Lord says we can be?

Love. Knowing that we are loved changes everything and when we recognize just how much the Lord loves us, we can begin the transforming power to change our perspective and renew our mind and way of thinking, which will transform our priorities, our purposes and our pain???
What’s our motive?
1. God Loves Us with a Love that Keeps on Loving 2. God Loves Us with a Love that Keeps on Giving 3. God Loves Us with a Love that Keps Reaching Out to……called children of God. …the reason the world does not know us is that it knew him not.” 1.
Changing our perspective through the lens of the love that compels us to do so, will change other behaviors, actions and attitudes such as our priorities, principles, paths and so forth.
This session, we wish to concentrate on where we believe it all begins..
a biblical approach to a new perspective so that walking out /5 isn’t done from the stand point alone of ‘I must”, but because “He loves me and asks that of me”...
The basis of our obedience according to /5, but doing so through the lens of the proper perspective, being rooted in love that has the power to compel us to change the way we act - having a renewed mind that is no long self serving, but

No longer are we working out of obligation or a sense of duty, but because the love He poured out has so changed our hearts that it’s the only response our heart can take.
There is a Cost..are we a fan or a follower?
The power of a transformed mind that lines up w/ the Word of God...
Jesus said Come follow me…leave behind your possessions...Pursue comfort or pursue Jesus, but not both.All wish to rejoice with him but few wish to participate in his sufferings...Have we watered down the truth of God’s word to passify a world that doesn’t want to hear that it’s not ok to say that you believe in Jesus, yet stay the same?Scripture - in the world, but not of the world.“We are settling for woefully less than what Jesus promised us”, said Moore. “I read my NT over and over and I’m not seeing what He promised. The term used in Galatians “slave” ().....elaborate on this… It wasn’t a negative term. And the people of the day understood what it meant,..Christ died for you and I to be FREE. Free from being who the world wants you to be, to be all you were created to be. Free to seek Freedom to be who you were created to be
A correct change in perspective has all the power that leads to a change in priorities, which can ultimately bring the ultimate life change we pray for...

When we became a believer the Holy Spirit came to dwell in us, therefore A true encounter w/ with the Lord Jesus Christ in and of itself should compel us to change our way of doing life. The Love of God and the overwhelming gratitude we have for Him and what He has done, has the power to guide us to change our:Purpose and Passions - ding to self and living for Him/loving what He love and despising what He “hates”Perspective and Principles - What we stand forPriorities - What’s important Paths, Prayers...
