Review
Last week we saw Samuel anointed as King over Israel.
We spoke of how Saul was enlisted for a specific task, based on God’s call on his life.
Today we want to check up on King Saul, and see how he handles his directive.
After Saul became king, he was involved with a number of military campaign.
Sometimes he was successful, chapters 11-15 describe those campaigns, and Saul’s faults as leader seem to keep to mounting.
However, Saul is a warrior, and he is accomplishing the mission the Lord has for Him for the most part, yet where his heart lies, that remains in question.
