Six forever guarantees for the present

The future grace of eternity guarantees me present grace.

- 5 who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

The guaranteed end of the story secures control over my story in the present. Everything will be fine! You are not responsible for writing your own story.  And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place Your job is not to control people and situations with the anxious hope that somehow things will work out. Final peace guarantees the presence, power, and provision of the Prince of Peace here and now.  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do you see the “now-ism” of grace. “I ca face life with courage e, not because I am able, but because I know I will always have the grace I need to do what God has called me to do.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 Where do you look for peace? You must realize that the inner lasting peace you lack is not the result of ease of circumstance or the love of people, but is yours because the Prince of Peace has invaded your life, and you can rest in his care even in moments when you don’t have a clue what is going on. Eternal hope gives me reason for present hope. Are you hoping for hope?  and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Eternity teaches us that we have reason to be hopeful - not because your plans will succeed, but because God’s will. God’s work of change, which will culminate in an eternity where all things are new, assures me that real change is possible in the here and now. Our problem is that we have short attention spans. We see a need for change, , we want it to happen immediately, and when it doesn’t we get discouraged. We try to change what we have no ability or power to change.  And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. The entire story of the Bible is a story of change. Creation, fall, redemption, restoration. The final restoration of all things guarantees me the help I need until they are restored.  So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”
