On 2 August, 2010 two women gave birth to healthy babies at the Tambo Memorial Hospital just outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. At the time of the birth and even as the women went home with their respective babies, all was well. There was nothing to suggest that anything wasn’t as it was meant to be.But then four years later, one of the mums (Ms. du Toit) became embroiled in a battle over child support.Ms du Toit is single and unemployed and went to try and get child support from the father of her daughter. As part of the process she was required to submit DNA from her daughter for paternity testing
