Matthew 25:19–23 NKJV
After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
There aren’t too many things that you can be sure of, earthquakes destroying, floods and hurricanes have utterly wiped out entire communities, and the world is walking on pins and needles, because at any moment the world could be destroyed by human hands.
Matthew 25
There aren’t too many things that you can be sure of, people will fail you, the economy will break, the news will ruin your day, but the one thing that we have that’s consistently true in our lives is the word of God.
people will fail you, the economy will break, the news will ruin your day, but the one thing that we have that’s consistently true in our lives is the word of God.

There aren’t too many things that you can be sure of, people will fail you, the economy will break, the news will ruin your day, but the one thing that we have that’s consistently true in our lives is the word of God.
God’s word will not fail, can not harm you.
God’s word guides us, it the lamp unto our feet and it lights up our path.
God’s word is protective, have I hid in my heart, that I may not.
God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. If He said it He will do it.
God is true to His word, His word will never come back void.
As I wrestled with the Word of God this week, this one verse stayed with me and would not let go, because I believe that there are some people in the body of Christ that’s growing wearing in their well doing. I believe that there are some folk that’s about to throw in the towel.
Now, is not the time to give up nor give in because God is going to take you higher.
2 Corinthians 9:10 NKJV
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
2 Corinthians 9:10
God gives to the sower… IOW you will never begin with sowing into the kingdom empty handed. God blessed you before you could bless Him.
The Gospel of Matthew records a very interesting conversation that Jesus has with those that were willing to listen, it is the known as the Parable of the Talents.
Jesus was explaining what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. Kingdom living doesn’t begin when you close your eyes and take your last breathe, but Jesus said that the Kingdom of Heaven is closer than you think.
Matter I loving the fact that I can experience heaven right here on earth, and I don’t have to die to enjoy it.
Matthew 25:14 NKJV
“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.
Notice the text says that Kingdom living is available to all.
If you are a servant of the Lord then you already have what is required of you to do God’s will.
2 Corinthians 9:10 NKJV
Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

Matthew 25:15 NKJV
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
God is fair, He is just, but He is not into equal opportunity.
IOW God will never put more on you than you can handle.
God already knows your heart, that’s why some prayers go unanswered because God knows your heart.
God heard you praying for a raise and a promotion, but He knows that your agenda is not His agenda, God already knows that you’re not kingdom minded, you’re just asking for something that benefits only you.
Matthew 25:16 NKJV
Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
Notice God knew, that the sister could handle the position as a manager, He knew that you would excel on your job, He knew that you would do more than just keep things the way that they are.
Everyone of you should be doing better this year than you did last year. Kingdom minded people don’t grow stagnant nor do back.
Matthew
Matthew 25:17 NKJV
And likewise he who had received two gained two more also.
May I suggest to you that you have willing to work with whatever God has given you. Be satisfied with what God has blessed you with, and just whistle while you work.
The elders use to say, I’m waiting for my ship to come in. I may not have what you have, but I’m going to do the best that I can with what God has given me.
Romans 12:3 NKJV
For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
Matthew
Matthew 25:18 NKJV
But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord’s money.
There are some folk that will never take a risk or the challenge to do better. There are some people that will never go anywhere, do anything, or have anything, and it’s all because they are afraid of taking the risk.
There are no guarantees in life: People waste too much time worrying about the “What If’
I’m not going to give all of my money to the church.
The pastor has to be a risk taker is the church is going to flourish, I’m willing to stand out from all the others even if I have to go it alone.
Talk about taking a job w/25k cut in pay.

He’s capable of turning his situation around, but he doesn’t want to take a chance.
If I had to do it all over again, I’d do the same or maybe even more, because I got my mind made u, this is a Kingdom agenda that I’m working on, it may sound foolish to you to do so much, and maybe it is, but God can take the foolishness of the world to confound the wise.

Matthew 25:19 NKJV
After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
How many of you know that there will come a time when the Lord is going to settle the score with everyone of us. He’s going to require you to tell Him what you have done.
Matthew 25:20 NKJV
“So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’
You should be able to talk back to God and articulate what you have done for the Kingdom.

Matthew 25:21 NKJV
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Matthew 25:
Here’s the shouting part, God’s only requirement is that you do the best with what you have.
Matthew 25:22 NKJV
He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’
Same thing he produced and he gladly articulated to God what he had done.
Are you ready for this. God is not looking at the total sum of the thing, He just wants you to do your very best, be your very best, so that you can give your very best.
Notice how it worked out.
God provided seed to the sower.
Matthew 25
The sower took the seek and worked the ground and had a good return on the work, because he did his very best.
Matthew 25:23 NKJV
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
God just want you to do a good job and be faithful over the little that you have. It’s just a test, if you can handle to small task, you’ll get the promotion, because you have proven yourself.
