1. Belshazzar celebrated gods who could do him no
good at all, refusing to glorify God though he knew
what had happened to his predecessor
Nebuchadnezzar.
2. Jehovah, the true Living God is the One who holds
the power of life & death.

1. What the enemy means for your destruction & end,
God has the Divine ability, because He is in control of
your destiny, to hide you, bring you through a crowd
of would-be executioners.

work to the Lord, and your plans will be
established.

Job 23:13But once he has made his decision, who can
change his mind?
Whatever he wants to do, he does.
14So he will do to me whatever he has planned.
He controls my destiny.
15No wonder I am so terrified in his presence.
