What's Love Got to do with It

Consider how different the world might be if at every time we met someone unknown to us, both individuals had the attitude to love one another. That does not quite do justice to the concept I’m trying to share. What if all humanity had the attitude that to love one’s neighbor – known, or unknown; friend, or foe – was an unending obligation…a debt forever due? Would the world be different? What if just a portion of humanity were to take on such an attitude? Would the world change? Would others notice? Would the news media take note and report such a movement? A follower of Jesus named Paul talked like this. He wrote to the Christians in Rome and told them to have the attitude that love is a debt, no matter how much you pay, the debt remains.
