Won’t He Do It!

A Look At and more

Romans 8:32 NLT
32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
Rom
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!

My Belief

Won’t He Do It!
No Condemnation
Romans 8:1 NLT
1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
Ro 8:
"No condemnation" means that as a believer, You are not doomed or damned, but are free from the penalty and judgement of sin;
You and I are not judged as sinners, but delivered from the condemnation of death and hell; he is not judged to be unrighteous, but is counted to be righteous.
Romans 8:2–4 NLT
2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. 3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. 4 He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.
Won’t He Do It!!
(MSG) 3  God went for the jugular when he sent his own Son. He didn't deal with the problem as something remote and unimportant. In his Son, Jesus, he personally took on the human condition, entered the disordered mess of struggling humanity in order to set it right once and for all. The law code, weakened as it always was by fractured human nature, could never have done that. The law always ended up being used as a Band-Aid on sin instead of a deep healing of it.
Romans 8:5–8 NLT
5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.
See, the Spirit pulls the mind to spiritual things.
This Scripture, talks to us about our minds.
"As [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7). Where a man keeps his mind and what he thinks about determine who he is and what he does. If a man keeps his mind and thoughts in the gutter, he becomes part of the filth in the gutter. If he keeps his mind upon the good, he becomes good. If he focuses upon achievement and success, he achieves and succeeds. If his mind is filled with religious thoughts, he becomes religious. If his thoughts are focused upon God and righteousness, he becomes godly and righteous. A man becomes and does what he thinks. It is the law of the mind. Scripture says three things about the power of the Spirit and of the human mind. Preacher's Outline and Sermon Bible - Commentary - The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible – Romans.
Proverbs 23:7 NKJV
7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.
"As [a man] thinketh in his heart, so is he" ().
Where you keep your mind and what you think about determine who you are and what you do.
If we keep our mind and thoughts in the gutter, we becomes part of the the gutter.
If we keep our mind on the good, we become good.
If we focuses upon achievement and success, we achieve and succeed .
If our mind is filled with religious thoughts, we becomes religious.
If our thoughts are focused upon God and righteousness, we become godly and righteous.
A person becomes and does what he thinks.
It is the law of the mind.
The bible says three things about the power of the Spirit and of the human mind. 1. There is the carnal mind vs. the spiritual mind.
The carnal mind is the mind of man's flesh or body. The phrase "to be carnally minded" It means the mind that is given over to the flesh; that focuses upon the flesh and its worldly urges and desires;
2. There is the spiritual mind. It is the natural mind of man that has been renewed by the Spirit of God.
It means that the man who walks after the Spirit minds "the things of the Spirit" day by day.
3. There is the fate of both minds. The carnal mind is strongly warned, whereas the spiritual mind is assured and comforted.
Romans 8:8 NKJV
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
The Spirit of God can transform the mind of man.
The Spirit of God can pull the mind to spiritual things
Romans 8:9 NLT
9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)
Won’t He Do It
Romans 8:10–11 NLT
10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
The Spirit gives life to the spirit of the believer. The idea in the Greek makes this verse clear:
Another way to look at this is
"If Christ be in you, although the body is to die because of sin, the spirit shall live because of righteousness."
Very simply stated, the body of man does die, but his spirit can live forever if Christ is "in" him.
Romans 8:12–13 NLT
12 Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. 13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.
Ro 8:
You owe your flesh nothing!
You are not in debt or obligated to your flesh,
The flesh brings nothing but misery and suffering to man.
You are not obligated to something that caves in... • to sickness and disease so often.
• to sin and shame so often.
• to death much too quickly.
Won’t He Do It
Romans 8:14 NLT
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
One of the great powers of the Holy Spirit, is the power to lead you as a believer and to become involved in your life.
The evidence or proof that a person is a child of God is this:
*Are you led by the Spirit of God?
*Are you acknowledging God and rejoicing in His strength and eternal security during the trials of life?
* Are you being led along the way of righteousness and truth?
s the person led by the Spirit of God? ⇒ Is the person being carried through the trials of life victoriously, acknowledging God and rejoicing in His strength and eternal security? ⇒ Is the person being led along the way of righteousness and truth? ⇒ Is the person being directed and brought along on the course to heaven, to spend eternity with God? Preacher's Outline and Sermon Bible - Commentary - The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible – Romans.
* Are you being directed and brought along on the course to heaven, to spend eternity with God?
Very simply, are you living for God and talking about the things of God?
When you are truly led by the Spirit you are wrapped up in the things of God.
A Child of God rejoices in his Father and seeks to please His Father in all that he does.
Romans 8:15 NLT
15 So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
No Fear
No fear, because of past mistakes
No Fear of what people say or do
No Fear of what the future brings
No Fear of failure
No Fear of success
I have a Family
My Father in Heaven Loves Me!
Romans 8:16–17 NLT
16 For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. 17 And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.
