I) Introduction

II) Christ Knew no Sin

a. He lived a perfect life

b. Never contradicted the law of God

c. He was able to stand before God as the perfect sacrifice.

d. His righteousness counted for all men.

46 Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me?

15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

III)Christ became our Sin

a. Man needs more than righteousness to stand before God

b. Man is born breaking God’s law

c. Therefore, death is the punishment

d. God laid all the sins of man of Christ

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

IV) Christ made us Righteous

1. What does this mean?

When a person TRULY believes — God takes that belief and faith and counts man as righteous

2. God is willing because He loves us that much.

3. God is willing because of what Jesus Did.

a. lived a sinless life.

b. He became the perfect representative.

c. He came to die

d. He came to be buried

e. He came to be resurrected

f. conquering death, HE Conquered Satan.

V) Christ wants all men/women.

Do not accept the offer in Vain

With empty hearts and deaf ears
