Just a few weeks ago we started with reflections on the Bible, then on it’s author, GOD and now we turn to the main subject matter of the Bible His Son- Jesus!
Is there enough time to truly meditate on Jesus, it could be overwhelming
If you were going to use one word to describe Jesus, or to meditate upon what word would you use?
D.M. Lockridge did a sermon entitled “He’s My King: Do you know Him” and sit back as I try to give some of the describers he used.
THE BIBLE SAYS:
He’s the King of the Jews
Mt2:2 “2 “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?
For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.””
Mt27:37 “37 And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.””
He’s the King of Israel
Mk15:32 “32 “Let this Christ, the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe!”
Those who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him.”
He’s the King of Righteousness
He’s the King of the Ages
He’s the King of Heaven
He’s the King of Glory
He’s the King of King’s and the is the Lord of Lords

He’s the cardinal necessity of spiritual religion
Now that’s My King!
He’s the miracle of the age
He’s the superlative of everything good that you choose to call him
He’s the only one able to supply all of our needs, simultaneously
He supplies strength for the weak
He sets the captives free
He’s available for the tempted and the tried
He sympathizes and He saves
He guards and He guides
He heals the sick, cleanses the leapers
He forgives sinners
He discharges debtors
He defends the feeble
He blesses the Young
He serves the unfortunate
He regards the aged
He rewards the diligent
He’s my King; do you know Him? My king, He is the key of knowledge
He’s the wellspring of wisdom
He’s the doorway of deliverance
He’s the pathway of peace
He’s the roadway of righteousness
