… Aku datang, supaya mereka mempunyai hidup, dan mempunyainya dalam segala kelimpahan.
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Ayat di atas banyak kalili gunakan pada gereja2 yang menganut ajaran Prosperity.
Prosperity itu baik tapi kalau tidak disertai dengan keseimbangan maka kita akan jauh keluar dari Injil yang sebenarnya.
Hidup bersama Yesus lebih dari material Prosperity
Hidup dengan Yesus is PRICELESS (Tak ternilai)

Albert Pujols, the first baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, is a World Series champ, an eight-time All Star, the recipient of three National League MVP awards, and according to a 2008 poll of 30 MLB managers, the most feared hitter in the sport. But even more impressive is his life off the field. The Pujols Family Foundation he started offers support and care to people with Down syndrome and their families, while also helping the poor in the Dominican Republic. He and his wife of ten years provide a loving household for four little children. But most importantly, he is a passionate disciple of Christ.
While speaking at an event at Lafayette Senior High School in Missouri, Pujols told the audience of men and young boys, “As a Christian, I am called to live a holy life. My standard for living is set by God, not by the world. I am responsible for growing and sharing the gospel.” Then, after reading Paul’s words in —”Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves”—Pujols told the crowd, “One way for me to stay satisfied in Jesus is for me to stay humble. Humility is getting on your knees and staying in God’s will—what he wants for me, not what the world wants.” He added: “It would be easy to go out and do whatever I want, but those things only satisfy the flesh for a moment. Jesus satisfies my soul forever.”
What is your Standard Living?
Why many people come and moved? Maybe to change their standard of living.
Mula-mula di sebut “Christian”?
Kristen. Sebutan ini muncul 3 kali dalam alkitab, dan ketiganya mengandung gagasan bahwa Kristen adalah gelar yang diakui umum pada zaman Perjanjian Baru, sekalipun jelas ada sebutan-sebutan lain yang dipakai oleh orang kristen sendiri.

Synopsis
Life embraces more than physical existence; it includes humanity’s relationship with God. Human beings come to life spiritually only through faith in the redeeming work of God in Jesus Christ. This spiritual life is a foretaste of the life which believers will finally enjoy to the full in the new heaven and earth. Life in the Spirit means keeping in step with the promptings and guidance of the Holy Spirit, and always being open to his gifts and empowerment.

Ini menandakan bahwa kita memiliki Hidup dengan Kristus.

2. It is true life
(NIV) — 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
(GW) By doing this they store up a treasure for themselves which is a good foundation for the future. In this way they take hold of what life really is.
(ITB)dan dengan demikian mengumpulkan suatu harta sebagai dasar yang baik bagi dirinya di waktu yang akan datang untuk mencapai hidup yang sebenarnya.

(NIV) — 11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Engkau memberitahukan kepadaku jalan kehidupan; di hadapan-Mu ada sukacita berlimpah-limpah, di tangan kanan-Mu ada nikmat senantiasa.

Instead of answer the father told his son to take this rock and go sell it at the market and if anybody ask the price raise two finger and don’t say anything. The boy then went to the market and the woman ask how much this rock I want to put in my garden. The boy didn’t say anything and raise up two fingers and the woman say…$2? I’ll take it” The boy went home and told his father the woman wants to buy this rock for $2.
The father then said; “Son I want you to take this rock to the museum, If anybody want to buy it don’t say a word just put up two fingers.” The boy then went to the museum and the man want to buy the rock. The boy didn’t say a word and put up 2 fingers and the man said “$200? I’ll take it. The boy was shocked and went running home “Father a man want to buy this rock for $200”.
The father then said “Son the last place I want you to take this rock…is to the precious stone store show it to the owner and didn’t say a word and he ask the price just put up 2 fingers. The son then went to a precious stone store and he show the rock to the owner and the owner said “where did you find this stone? Ot is one of the most rarest stone in the world. I must have it! How much would you sell it for? The boy put up 2 fingers and the man said “I’ll take it for $200.000.
The boy not knowing what to say… run home to his father. “Father there’s a man that want to buy the stone for $200.000! His father then said, son DO YOU KNOW THE VALUEOF YOUR LIFE NOW?
You see it doesn’t matter where you come from…
Where you born…
The color of you skin…
How much money you were born into
IT MATTERS WHERE YOU DECIDE TO PLACE YOURSELF
THE PEOPLE YOU SOURROUND YOURSELF WITH
AND HOW YOU CHOOSE TO CARRY YOURSELF
YOU MAY HAVE LIVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE…THINKING THAT YOU WERE A $2 STONE.
You may have lived your whole life… surrounded by people that saw you worth for only $2. But everybody has a more then Diamond inside of them. And we can choose to surround our self with people that see our value and see the diamond inside of us. We can choose to put ourself in a market, museum or in the precious stone store.
CHOOSE THE PEOPLE SURROUND YOU WISELY
“BUT JESUS…WILL SEE YOU AS PRICELESS (Tak ternilai)”
Halloween just around the corner
DON’T Celebrate Halloween:
(Indonesian TB) Janganlah turut mengambil bagian dalam perbuatan-perbuatan kegelapan yang tidak berbuahkan apa-apa, tetapi sebaliknya telanjangilah perbuatan-perbuatan itu.
(KJV) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
(GW) Have nothing to do with the useless works that darkness produces. Instead, expose them for what they are.
(CEV) Don't take part in doing those worthless things that are done in the dark. Instead, show how wrong they are.
(Indonesian BIS) Jangan melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang tidak berguna yang dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang hidup dalam kegelapan. Sebaliknya, hendaklah kalian menelanjangi hal-hal semacam itu.
