In Today’s Nehemiah passage we see the people ask for, hear, and respond to God’s word.
In fact this day marks a turning point for the people of Israel.
Before this there was a constant turning to idols, from here on out, the people of Jerusalem become known as people of the Book.

Hebrews 1:1-
