Introduction

 

What lies on the other side of death?

Many religions try to answer this question but only one religion has the real answer to this question.

Some religions make the claim that  people are re-incarnated.

Some try to say that because God is such a forgiving God that  all will be forgiven and that there is no judgment.

They would have one to believe that the God we serve is a patty-cake God and that , God is Love, and that  God is forgiving.

Yes this is what the scripture says but  I stand here to tell you that to claim these scriptures is conditional.

And if a person does not meet the conditions He shall lift up his eyes in hell.

The who reason that we are here is to make the attempt to introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a dieing word.

Luke 16:19-31

19 † There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that /would come/ from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Let me now re-establish a couple of biblical facts .

Read Romans  1:19-21

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in themf; for God hath shewed /it/ unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, /even/† his eternal power and Godhead; sog that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified /him/ not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Psalm 19:1-3

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3 /There is/ no speech nor language, /where/ their voice is not heard

Acts 14:17-18

17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

18 And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

John 1:9

9 /That/ was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world..

Romans 2:14-15

14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their consciencec also bearing witness, and /their/ thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

 

I have pulled out these scriptures to state one simple fact that everyone made, knows the Lord our God and has no excuse.

*Are the rewards we receive Just (Luke 16:25)*

The rich man as stated in verse 25 had in life received his good things.

Now where do you think that he that his blessings came form   We can become so full of ourselves that we think that because of our own abilities we have the things that we have.

Haven’t you every heard the phrase I am a self made   man.

I pulled myself up by my bootstraps.

I stating and or thinking this way there is not room for what God has done.

And also on the flip side just because in this life we have not received physical manifestations by way of worldly wealth it does not mean that we are not on our way to heaven.

Everybody won’t get the big house or the nice car as some of these prosperity and word of mouth preachers proclaim.

Jesus just said it right here.

You know it was spoke by Jesus because it is in red writing.

*If you lift up your eyes in hell there is no escape (vs 26)*

 

Here the rich man new that he had missed his opportunity to be in heaven.

He did not fully realize the consequences until he was actually in torment from what Abraham goes on to say to him later in the text it is quite obvious that he had been given the opportunity to accept the ways of God.

Do  you remember when the lord first called you.

You knew who He was, you knew that it was him calling you, To some of us it was an audible voice and to some a vexing of our spirit, it could have come through the preached word, some of us even heard the voice and ran but we must admit one fact, and that is we knew it was and is the voice of God.

Now Preacher why are you going through all this.

It is because there a lost world out here and people are doing anything that they want to do.

And belive me brothes and sisters there is a real hell.

Matthew 13:37-42

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 † The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked /one/; 39 † The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all thingsc that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 13:49-50

49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth

Consider the Warning

Hell is a place not a state of the mind but a place

None believers satan   All are temporary until there great white throne judgment

 

People like to talk about the love of God the joy and hope

And not want to discuss what God has said is the final resting place of none believers

 

Suffering indiscernible pain  water ,Matt 25:30   Place of darkness gnashing of teeth describing the place   Mark 9:33-34

 

There is no escape he could not go back to his home and tell his family of what happened in

 

This is also a place of remembrance.

He was able to remember the times that he had while living.

He will also remember the opportunities they had to be saved.

How many time The gospel was shared.

When a man dies separated from God he has his way.

Rewarded for works in the great white throne judgment the book shall be open when the lake of fire is opened follow that men shall be judged according to their works because there are level of suffering.

Luke 12 some shall suffer more stripes than other.

A place of agony suffering torment tears hopelessness degrees of suffering this is the word of God.

If your house is on fire you would want me to tell you and try to help you out of the inferno.

We are required to warn believers of the burning and we should do our best to rescue them less they burn in flames.

We are amongst people every day who do not believe the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Refuse to acknowledge the testimony of their own conscious and reject  the vexing of the holy spirit.

We are here to share this simple Gospel

 

God the father incarnate in his son Jesus Christ, Son of God born of a virgin, sinless and absolutely perfect, came into this world for the primary reason, of dieing on the cross,  In  dieing on the cross He paid the debt for all sin for all mankind for all the ages .

He bore our sin and paid in full our sin debt past present and future HE made the final  payment.

When he died and was buried and ascended he went to the father and offered his own blood, His death and his sacrificial offering was accepted.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is proof of this fact and every person that accepts his death as payment for their sin receive from Him personally  the eradication for all sin past present and future They are eternally a child of God stamped, sealed by the Holy spirit of promise now indwelt with the personality of Jesus Christ through the personality of the Holy Spirit and delivered   and are forever and ever and time eternity are children of the Living God.

You may not fully understand what I have just said but if you accept you are

 

In the acceptance of Jesus Christ Every person that receives him personally as lord and savior

 

There is only one-way to avoid Hopeless ness banished forever form your loved ones

 

One way to get to heaven and to avoid what We have just talked about.

It is not through works it is a gift by God and through fait.

You can be saved right now.

Just buy repenting of your sin and asking him to be come the lord of your life.

The next few moments could be the most important of your entire life.
