For unto us

Isaiah 9:6 ESV
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
For unto us a child is born
the Angels proclaimed
Luke 2:11–12 ESV
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
Jesus would say it like this
John 3:16 ESV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Out of love for us, God would send His son
Out of Love The Christ would come
Philippians 2:5–11 ESV
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
God goes on through the prophet Isaiah to describe what this Child was going to be like
Wonderful counselor -
Holman Concise Bible Commentary Deliverance through Messiah (7:1–12:6)

The Messiah’s royal titles attest to his close relationship to God and depict him as a mighty warrior capable of establishing peace in his realm. Four titles are listed, each of which contains two elements. The first, “Wonderful Counselor,” in this context portrays the Messiah as an extraordinary military strategist.

Luke 2:13 ESV
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
Host-
an army:—host(2).
God would use an Army to Declare Peace
we pray- “Your Kingdom come your will be done”
Kingdom-
sovereignty, royal power
God has brought His Kingdom into our lives, by crushing the power of Darkness
Colossians 2:13–15 ESV
And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.
This wise counselor has Triumphed and in this has brought us freedom from sin
Colossians 1:13–14 ESV
He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
God has delivered us for the domain darkness

a state of control over someone or something

Darkness no longer has control over our
thoughts
our actions
or our lives
Because our Wonderful Counselor has disarmed darkness
2 Corinthians 10:3–6 ESV
For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
God goes on to call so Mighty God
Matthew 1:23 ESV
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).
This mighty God is with us

He is also the Mighty God (cf. 10:21). Some have suggested that this simply means “a godlike person” or hero. But Isaiah meant more than that, for he had already spoken of the Messiah doing what no other person had been able to do (e.g., 9:2–5). Isaiah understood that the Messiah was to be God in some sense of the term.

Jesus Came to this earth to destroy the power of sin and darkness
God stepped into the story of humankind to be our savior as the angels declared in Luke 2
“Unto us a savior is born”
John 1:4–5 ESV
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Ou mighty God has done something we could never do
He broke the curse of Sin and death
Galatians 3:13 ESV
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—
This mighty God took our place
Dead come Alive- Tyler Joseph 21 Pilots
Let me take a little second to tell you
as we see a prophecy that came true
You see we need to believe that he literally bled through
the clothes on his back his sweat the day was just like crimson rain
crimson stains tide bounty and the devil can’t wash these stains away
Who’s he you ask he’s a friend of me
cause my inability he was sent for me
I hear birds and trees there all telling me
it’s a good thing he won Gethsemane
cause this enemy is to much for me
and this flesh and world is triple teaming me
it seems to be the very end I scream please oh please pass this cup from me
The thing is it did pass and it passes every day he took my cup from me and gracefully he drank the grave
and I don’t mean to speak blasphemy
when I say
but I am speaking of the day when my God passed away Okay
no wait wait wait no that’s not it no that’s not all
I don’t wanna leave you hanging this stories banging against my throat and against these walls
It cant be contained no it wont stay in here it will thrive
cause stories just don’t die when the dead come alive
What was impossible for me and for you to do
A savior came and did-
a mighty God who defeated sin and Darkness on cross taking our place
So we could find forgiveness and be made whole .
