Intro:
The interpretation of & beyond relies heavily on your perspective of the book.
As I shared a few weeks ago in lesson 1, I see much of this book from the futurist point of view.
That is, I see these events we are about to discuss as occuring in the future.
Specifically in the 7 year great tribulation and beyond..
John said in
What does add to understanding of the last days and timing of the Tribulation?
Many see v 27 describing the rise of the Antichrist with a peace treaty.
The usage has been weeks of years (7 years being 1 week).
If that is correct, there will be a 7 year period ushered in by a peace covenant which will be broken 1/2 way through and the sacrifices will be stopped.
What else does the antichrist do?
Stand in the holy place
A literal interpretation of these events looks like this:
AC signs peace treaty with Israel
Temple is rebuilt, or worship is resumed
1/2 way through the 7 year period, he enters the temple and declares himself to be god.
The 7 seals:
Christ, the worthy now takes the scroll and begins to open the seals.
As He opens the seals, specific events begin to unfold.
The final 7 years before Christ’s return will be a time of unprecedented chaos and judgment
This time has been called
The Great Tribulation
The TIme of Jacob’s trouble
The Day of the Lord
At the same time, the Restrainer, will no longer restrain and sin and demonic activity will be running rampant.

There will be a great harvest of souls during the Tribulation.
As Scriptures unfolds and the world falls apart, “faith will come by hearing the word of God”
Many of them will be killed for their faith in the Tribulation, just as saints have been martyred since Jesus.
In this seal, we see judgement declared for the killers and reward for the saints.
