Psalm 139:1–18 CSB
1 Lord, you have searched me and known me. 2 You know when I sit down and when I stand up; you understand my thoughts from far away. 3 You observe my travels and my rest; you are aware of all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue, you know all about it, Lord. 5 You have encircled me; you have placed your hand on me. 6 This wondrous knowledge is beyond me. It is lofty; I am unable to reach it. 7 Where can I go to escape your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. 9 If I live at the eastern horizon or settle at the western limits, 10 even there your hand will lead me; your right hand will hold on to me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light around me will be night”— 12 even the darkness is not dark to you. The night shines like the day; darkness and light are alike to you. 13 For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made. Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well. 15 My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in your book and planned before a single one of them began. 17 God, how precious your thoughts are to me; how vast their sum is! 18 If I counted them, they would outnumber the grains of sand; when I wake up, I am still with you.

God’s Omniscience v.1-6

Psalm 139:1–6 CSB
1 Lord, you have searched me and known me. 2 You know when I sit down and when I stand up; you understand my thoughts from far away. 3 You observe my travels and my rest; you are aware of all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue, you know all about it, Lord. 5 You have encircled me; you have placed your hand on me. 6 This wondrous knowledge is beyond me. It is lofty; I am unable to reach it.
The term Omniscience means that He knows all things

Psalm 139:2–6 CSB
2 You know when I sit down and when I stand up; you understand my thoughts from far away. 3 You observe my travels and my rest; you are aware of all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue, you know all about it, Lord. 5 You have encircled me; you have placed your hand on me. 6 This wondrous knowledge is beyond me. It is lofty; I am unable to reach it.
Psalm 139:2-

He understands:

1. All your thoughts

He Places His hand upon us!
Everything We do GOD knows! He knows what we are doing every moment of every day, He knows where we are going and when we are going there. He knows every word weather we say it or not.
He knows everything we even Think!
Psalm 139:6 CSB
6 This wondrous knowledge is beyond me. It is lofty; I am unable to reach it.
The Psalmist is amazed at how Completely God knows Him.
Are you amazed this morning at how completely God knows you?
God has sifted through us in every detail to know us in every part. God is always at work in the life of a believer from the moment we are conceived to the moment we enter eternity he sees every action and knows every thought.
There is nowhere we can go that is beyond God’s saving presence and Love. The deepest ocean or the darkest night cannot hide us from God.

His Omnipresence 7-12

Psalm 139:7–12 CSB
7 Where can I go to escape your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. 9 If I live at the eastern horizon or settle at the western limits, 10 even there your hand will lead me; your right hand will hold on to me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light around me will be night”— 12 even the darkness is not dark to you. The night shines like the day; darkness and light are alike to you.
Omnipresence refers to the fact That God is everywhere.
God’s Spirit in verse 7 refers to His presence. The psalmest asks where He can go to escape from the presence of God. He is intending to imply that it is not posible to ecape from the presence of God.

In none of theses areas can we hide from God
Psalm 139:10–12 CSB

Psalm 139:10–13 CSB
10 even there your hand will lead me; your right hand will hold on to me. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light around me will be night”— 12 even the darkness is not dark to you. The night shines like the day; darkness and light are alike to you. 13 For it was you who created my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
God’s hand leads us and holds us.
Like a Shepard leads his sheep the hand of God leads us.
The darkness of night that some use to hide in sin can not hide us from God. God sees our sin and when we do good.
Even in darkness our God sees everything
To him it is as light clear as the middle of the day.
When we confess our sin we are simply agreeing with God that our sin is sin. and this we must do.

Before our Body was even formed we were a person.
Scripture is clear here that we are a person as we are being formed in the womb even before the members of our Body are put together our personhood takes place.
This is very important because of the question of Abortion some say that the Bible has nothing to say about abortion and therefore we can make our own decision or do as we please.
This is verry importent because of the question of Abortion some say that the Bible has nothing to say about abortion and therfore we can make our own desision or do as we please. However, the Bible does have much to say and right here is a clear cut refernce We are a person at the moment of conception. While the Body is being formed David said he was a person, a humon being God had a blue print of his members before they came into existence he was there.

Abortion is Murder there is no way around it. If you don’t like it Blame God!

The Bible has the answer to all of life’s problems, there is no gray area. We need to take the principals of scripture and apply them
either it is wrong or it isn’t.
