*GOD’S LAWS OF SOWING & REAPING*
*GAL.
6:7-9*
* *
*THE LAW OF THE HARVEST IS REALLY A SET OF THREE LAWS: \\ \\ Law #1 – We Sow and Reap in Like Kind \\ *Pretty basic, but important.
If you plant watermelon seeds, don’t expect a crop of grapes.
Spiritually speaking – each day we are planting seeds!*  *You don’t decide by harvest time what kind of crop you are going to have.
It’s too late by then.
You have to make that decision when you plant the seed!
*                                                 (cf.
Gal.
6:7-8) \\ \\ Law #2 – We Reap More Than We Sow \\ *Just a handful of seeds yields an abundant harvest of tomatoes.
One seed of corn sprouts into a sturdy stalk with multiple ears.
And when you plant an apple tree, you get not only the tree but also all the apples that the tree bears.
Seeds are so small; they seem so insignificant, so lifeless.
But over time they grow into bountiful crops!
Spiritually speaking our actions will benefit or hurt us in a much greater way in eternity!
*(cf.
Matt .
25:34f,  II Cor.
510, Heb.
9:24) \\ \\ Law #3 – We Reap in a Different Season than We Sow \\ *Impatient people don’t make good farmers.
Sun, water, seed, and soil must work together /over time/ to grow crops from the earth.
When we sow spiritual seeds we shouldn’t sit with our faces pressed against the window, hoping to see a new crop shoot up overnight.
Spiritually speaking, the harvest will come . . .
but in another season!
*                                 (cf.
Gal.
6:9, I Cor.
15:57-58 ) \\ \\ *
*What kind of seeds are you planting today?
We plant seeds of love and kindness by our actions each day & the harvest that we receive today but most importantly the reward we receive tomorrow will be determined by how and what kind of spiritual seeds we sow.
If we can help you in your walk with the Lord, please let us know!*
