The Kingdom Of God - Part 2

Kidz World - Childrens Church
Mark 1:14–15 NKJV
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!
Introduction:
Last week we set the foundation for transitioning our thoughts about the Kingdom Of God
We looked at how Jesus taught on the Kingdom of God before his death and then the 40 days after his resurrection
We talked about Two Kingdoms:
The Kingdom of Darkness
The Kingdom of Darkness
The Kingdom of Jesus Christ
Jesus is King and We are His Ambassadors
The Kingdom Of God Lives in Us
God is my source in the Kingdom
We must work on getting the World out of us
Jesus said in - we cannot serve two masters
So today I want to share with you how to
Take The Kingdom
Matthew 11:12 NKJV
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.
Matthew 11:12 NLT
12 And from the time John the Baptist began preaching until now, the Kingdom of Heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it.
Matthew 11:12 AMP
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and violent men seize it by force [as a precious prize—a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].
atthew 11:12M
John The Baptist taught about taking the Kingdom
A person must storm the kingdom to enter it. He must have the spirit of a soldier who storms a city We cannot be half-hearted, lacking spirit or energy.
We cannot be complacent, indulgent, and at ease.
We cannot expect to just slip into heaven.
There has to be a real interest and desire, a vigorous stirring and struggle, a diligent seeking after God to enter heaven:
Luke 16:16 NKJV
16 “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.
Luke 16:16 NLT
16 “Until John the Baptist, the law of Moses and the messages of the prophets were your guides. But now the Good News of the Kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is eager to get in.
2 Tim 2:4
2 Timothy 2:3–4 AMP
3 Take [with me] your share of the hardships and suffering [which you are called to endure] as a good (first-class) soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No soldier when in service gets entangled in the enterprises of [civilian] life; his aim is to satisfy and please the one who enlisted him.
To enter into the Kingdom Of God
You really will need to storm it;
that means, you will endure anything to enter heaven.
You will deny yourself and change your behavior;
You will turn from sin to God (repent).
You will subject your desires to God's will
Romans 12:2 NKJV
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Pray For The Kingdom Of God to manifest in you
Matthew 6:10 NKJV
10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Watch Out For The World’s Temptations!
Luke 4:1–2 NLT
1 Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, 2 where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry.
Jesus Prepared to Operate in Kingdom Authority
Watch Out For 3 Temptations
Temptation 1: to meet the necessities of life by Your own power
Luke 4:3–4 NLT
3 Then the devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become a loaf of bread.” 4 But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone.’”
Temptation 2: to seek His ambition through compromise
Luke 4:5–8 NLT
5 Then the devil took him up and revealed to him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 “I will give you the glory of these kingdoms and authority over them,” the devil said, “because they are mine to give to anyone I please. 7 I will give it all to you if you will worship me.” 8 Jesus replied, “The Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’”
Temptation 3: to prove Yourself through sensationalism (v.9-12).
Luke 4:9–12 NLT
9 Then the devil took him to Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! 10 For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect and guard you. 11 And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ ” 12 Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’”
Luke
The Kingdom of Darkness imitates the Kingdom Of God
His kingdom and systems imitate God’s. The kingdom of darkness is not the real thing; it’s a fake, a counterfeit.
His kingdom and systems imitate God’s. The kingdom of darkness is not the real thing; it’s a fake, a counterfeit.
God’s kingdom comes with demonstration of supernatural power, The Kingdom of Darkness comes with counterfeit signs and wonders.
2 Thessalonians 2:8–10 NCV
8 Then that Man of Evil will appear, and the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath that comes from his mouth and will destroy him with the glory of his coming. 9 The Man of Evil will come by the power of Satan. He will have great power, and he will do many different false miracles, signs, and wonders. 10 He will use every kind of evil to trick those who are lost. They will die, because they refused to love the truth. (If they loved the truth, they would be saved.)

Revelation 12:9 NLT
9 This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.
Overcoming Deception
Galatians 5:25 NLT
25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
John 14:26 NLT
26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
John 15:26 AMP
26 But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [Himself] will testify regarding Me.
No Weapon
Isaiah 54:17 NKJV
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.
Remember: a tongue that rises against you in judgement is a work of the flesh.
Cut off any tongue that try’s to condemn you by declaring the truth of God’s Word.
David & Goliath
1 Samuel 17:38–49 NLT
38 Then Saul gave David his own armor—a bronze helmet and a coat of mail. 39 David put it on, strapped the sword over it, and took a step or two to see what it was like, for he had never worn such things before. “I can’t go in these,” he protested to Saul. “I’m not used to them.” So David took them off again. 40 He picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd’s bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd’s staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine. 41 Goliath walked out toward David with his shield bearer ahead of him, 42 sneering in contempt at this ruddy-faced boy. 43 “Am I a dog,” he roared at David, “that you come at me with a stick?” And he cursed David by the names of his gods. 44 “Come over here, and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and wild animals!” Goliath yelled. 45 David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! 47 And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!” 48 As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him. 49 Reaching into his shepherd’s bag and taking out a stone, he hurled it with his sling and hit the Philistine in the forehead. The stone sank in, and Goliath stumbled and fell face down on the ground.
