Fight the Good Fight of Faith

1 Timothy 1:18–19 NASB95
18 This command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight, 19 keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith.
1 Timothy 6:12 NASB95
12 Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Zoe life: Kingdom Life.
Hebrews 11:1–3 NASB95
1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the men of old gained approval. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:1-3
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
Verse 3 Again.
Hebrews 11:3 NKJV
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:2 NIV
2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
Hebrews 11:2
2675. καταρτίζω katartizō, kat-ar-tid´-zo; from 2596 and a der. of 739; to complete thoroughly, i.e. repair (lit. or fig.) or adjust:— fit, frame, mend, (make) perfect (-ly join together), prepare, restore.

How did God Frame the Worlds.
Genesis 1:1–3 NASB95
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Gen. 1:1-3
Before time as we know it existed, Elohim, ( The Almighty Covenant making God.) Plural yet singular.
The Plural Form
It is only a prophecy, if it comes from Heaven. (Spirit of Christ) explain. ( Thus says the Lord.) It needs to be the Lord. (The cancer is gone)
1 Timothy 1:18
Then even in we read that the spirit of the Elohim moved or brooded over the face of the waters. The entire creation, animate and inanimate, was, then, not only the work of the Elohim, but the object of a covenant within the Elohim guaranteeing its redemption and perpetuation. It is quite clear that the Elohim is a plurality in unity. So, Dr. Parkhurst continues: "Accordingly Jehovah is at the beginning of creation called Elohim, which implies that the divine persons had sworn when they created."

conscience: A knowledge of Right from Wrong. ( Heaven declared right from Wrong.)
Vs 3 Be: Everything light was, in the thoughts of God exploded across what would be the universe. Science tells us, the light is still expanding across the universe. You can not exhaust the thoughts of God.
Creation continues, God creates man, blesses him, and puts him in a garden. In Chapter 2 verse 15
Genesis 2:15 NASB95
15 Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.
Gen 2:15
To work it. To Guard it. Protect it? Maintain it? Wait. What? There was an enemy roaming loose.
In Chapter 3 The enemy gets in. Man looses the Garden, Satan now has dominion. Man operates now in a realm, cursed and dominated by an outlaw. (Satan) But the mighty Elohim had a plan. God always has a plan. He just needed someone with authority to Walk it out and Speak it out.
Abraham: God speaks to a Prophet with the authority to speak.
Genesis 22:2 NASB95
2 He said, “Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”

OSB:
Genesis 22:7–8 NASB95
7 Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” And he said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?” 8 Abraham said, “God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” So the two of them walked on together.
Gen 22:7-8
Genesis 22:9–12 NASB95
9 Then they came to the place of which God had told him; and Abraham built the altar there and arranged the wood, and bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. 10 Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. 11 But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” 12 He said, “Do not stretch out your hand against the lad, and do nothing to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me.”
Genesis 22:13 NASB95
13 Then Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering in the place of his son.
Genesis 22:9-12
Genesis 22:13
Think of the walk back down the mountain. Isaac had to be thinking, What just happened here? Abraham had to be thinking, what just happened here? “ Okay, God said take Isaac, offer him as a sacrifice. Now stop. Use the ram. Satan had to be thinking, Okay, that was weird, even to me.
To make it even more strange, Abraham said to Issac, God will provide himself a lamb. Abraham sacrificed a ram. The 2 can not be interchanged. None of it made any sense , until 4,000 years later on Mount Moriah, by then called Calvary. God walked through the door opened by the Prophetic word of Abraham, and Provided himself a lamb.
Jesus came to earth as a man, died in our place for our sins. and took the authority back. Gives us the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and says, Here, Cultivate it. Guard it.
God is so smart. His plan was perfect.
Now,
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Isaiah 55:7–11 NASB95
7 Let the wicked forsake his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. 8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:7-11
Review: Wicked and unrighteous: Anyone working contrary to God. He is talking to his people.

Isaiah 55:9–11 NIV
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Hold on to the Higher Thoughts. Hold on to the Higher Ways.
Live According to the Prophetic Word for Your Life!
His Way Always Works.
Your Way is Doomed to Fail. Your way won’t win Columbus to Jesus. His will. Your way won’t stop the enormous suicide attack in our schools. His will. March on this. March on that. All good. All noble. It will take God’s plan. And God’s power to break through the enemy lines.
*Donna: Prayer cancer. ( Don’t pray about the cancer, I want my family to realize how bad they have treated me and come to Jesus.)
That was a dumb plan. Mom dies of cancer. Family mad at God.
If you were the devil. What would your plan be? To steal the plan of God from your life. ( Get you out of the will of God, the plan of God. The Prophetic Word of God for your life. And He’s pretty good at it.

The Belt of Truth and the Sword of the Spirit.
Eph 6:14
Ephesians 6:14 NASB95
14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
The belt was not a particularly attractive piece of equipment. It of course fastened around the waist. It covered the center section of the man, including the reproductive organs. It is from this area of course that the males seed is released. The belt needed to be strong, because all the other pieces of armour were held in place by the belt. (Shoes? Helmet? )
To understand the belt of truth, I want to look at 4 scriptures.
John 17:17–18 NASB95
17 “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18 “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
John 17:
Jesus praying for us. YOUR WORD IS TRUTH.
The belt of truth, is the belt of his word. This is the Logos of God. What is Logos? This is the Heaven released God thought. Everything needed is contained in his thought. The Written Word, holds everything together. The Written Word, is my strength. The Written Word is what produces in my life.
Psalm 138:2 AMP
2 I will worship toward Your holy temple and praise Your name for Your loving-kindness and for Your truth and faithfulness; for You have exalted above all else Your name and Your word and You have magnified Your word above all Your name!
He has exalted His word above even his name.

Peter speaking. I was there. I heard the voice from Heaven, I saw Jesus move. I was on the mountain with him when Elijah and Moses were there. He could add, I walked on the water with him. I saw him raise the dead. I saw him die. I saw him raised to life.
I WAS THERE!

2 Peter 1:20–21 NASB95

Hebrews 6:19 NIV

Rope: Hope. Joyful Expectation: That God can not lie, and will not lie.

Jer 1:12
Jeremiah 1:12 NASB95
12 Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”
I am watching over my word (Logos) , to happen.
Hebrews 4:12 NASB95
12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Matthew 9:25–28 NASB95
25 But when the crowd had been sent out, He entered and took her by the hand, and the girl got up. 26 This news spread throughout all that land. 27 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” 28 When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
Ephesians 6:17 NASB95
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Ephesians 6:17
Matthew 9:25-28
I also have a sword. Scripture calls it, the word of God.
It’s the Rhema: The made alive word.

Is there a need? Is Jesus able to heal? He just raised the dead.
Matthew 9:28 NASB95
28 When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
Matthew 9:28–30 NASB95
28 When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, “It shall be done to you according to your faith.” 30 And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them: “See that no one knows about this!
Verse 28 They have followed him screaming out to him. He keeps walking. They follow him all the way to his house. It is almost like Jesus is oblivious to there cry. Church is over for the day. Jesus is tired. The prayer line has shut down. They are desperate.

Ever been there? This is a really good time to be upset with Jesus.
Did Jesus ever do anything he was not supposed to do?
Did Jesus ever fail to do something He was supposed to do?

Jesus made there healing, the responsibility of their faith. If they had faith to believer for a partial healing, they would have recieved a partial healing. If they had faith for a prosperous beggar's business, they would have gotten rich selling pencils. There faith was enough to be healed.
If no one ever speaks over me. If I never have a vision. If I don’t have goose bumps. If Kim sings the wrong song and Rob teaches the wrong sermon, Faith in His Word, is more than enough to accomplish every victory in my life.
Sometimes we act like Jesus just went around Releasing all over everyone, even if they did not want healed. There are 39 stories of healings and miracles in the gospels and acts. of those 39, 19 times faith was identified as the reason behind the healing. ( Lack of faith was identified as the reason Jesus could not heal, in his own home town. )

The Shield of Faith
Ephesians 4:16 NIV
16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Ephesians 6:16 NASB95
16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
: 16
The Shield was the size of a door. It was connected to the belt of truth, by straps, because it was heavy. It was soaked in water every night, so that when the soldiers went out for battle, it was saturated.
Ephesians 5:25–26 NASB95
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word,
Ephesians 5:25-26
The shield did not stop the attack. The shield stopped the attack from being successful.
Take up the Shield. On Purpose.
The Life of Paul:
Acts 23:9–11 NASB95
9 And there occurred a great uproar; and some of the scribes of the Pharisaic party stood up and began to argue heatedly, saying, “We find nothing wrong with this man; suppose a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?” 10 And as a great dissension was developing, the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them and ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force, and bring him into the barracks. 11 But on the night immediately following, the Lord stood at his side and said, “Take courage; for as you have solemnly witnessed to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must witness at Rome also.”
Acts 23:9-11
Verse 11. Heaven releases a God thought. It’s a good God thought. Take courage. you Must. What does it mean when Heaven says you must. Everything Paul needed was contained within that God Thought. We dance around the table. We celebrate. We have Heaven’s answer. Everything turns all rosy. And then Verse 12 happens.
Acts 23:12–14 NASB95
12 When it was day, the Jews formed a conspiracy and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink until they had killed Paul. 13 There were more than forty who formed this plot. 14 They came to the chief priests and the elders and said, “We have bound ourselves under a solemn oath to taste nothing until we have killed Paul.
