The End of the Beginning

Winston Churchill - not the end, beginning of the end, end of the beginning.
Too many of us stop at the cross or Easter
Long Walk
The cross - running away
It’s the end
Lost Hope
Jesus was supposed to end their oppression
Begin His reign and restore Israel
We miss the point - and still are
Revealed Purpose
From the fall - there was plan
Our sin was not the end
More than an End
Journey continues - Jesus was gonna keep going
Opened eyes - did they see the scars? did it all come together?
Does it still burn - not a one time flash
Motivated Movement
No excuses - it’s late
Went back to where they should of stayed
Shared the news
End of the Beginning
The cross ended sin and death
The resurrection made life available to us
What we do with it now -continues the story
Philippians 3:13–14 ESV
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
“We never grow closer to God when we just live life. It takes deliberate pursuit and attentiveness.” ― Francis Chan
