Background on the Prophet Isiah
He is what we call the 5th gospel Because He so accurately described the birth , life, death and restssurection and secon coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
It was the prophets responsibility to Preach and Prophsey to a backsliden nation
The book of Isaiah is really broken up into two sections...
The first section is prophesying to the people to repent , to stop their wayward way of living
judgment was on the way but the people of God ignored Gods warning.
So Destruction did come and Now Isiah’s primary job was now to bring comfort to these same group of people.

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and cry to her
that her warfare is ended,
that her iniquity is pardoned,
that she has received from the Lord’s hand
double for all her sins.
A voice cries:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
What are the people of God saying ??
Why do you say, O Jacob,
and speak, O Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord,
and my right is disregarded by my God”?

Creator = made everything
Faints not _ neither gets weary _ thank a God for what He doesn’t do
No searching His understanding- He knows what He will do

They feel like they have a right to be heard by God

from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
