“but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.”   Philippians 2:7 (NIV)

“but laid aside his mighty power and glory, taking the disguise of a slave and becoming like men.   Philippians 2:7 (TLB)

·         Think about everything that changed for Jesus:

1.  When We Reflect On What Christ Has Done For Us – Our  

     ______________ (and Actions) Ought to Change!

¨       This attitude is motivated by ____________.

¨       Must exchange Adam’s Prayer for Jesus’ Prayer.

2.  Living in the Comfort Zone Does Not Lead to ______________


¨       We think we need a ________-free life and that that would make us happy and content.

¨       The Point:  Fullness of Life does not come from avoidance of pain, but from __________ to move through the pain.

¨       Jesus was/is a ___________. When we look into His eyes, we see who we really are (greedy, proud, dishonest, immoral) and as a result, we are in pain.  That pain can be avoided or embraced and walked through as we allow Him to bring change in us.
