"You Are Not

Just a Face In The Crowd!"

   Luke 8:43-48

  July 24, 2000

Have you ever felt like …

·         You were not making a difference to anyone?

·         You were not needed or necessary?

·         You were just passing time and taking up space?

·         You were just another face in the crowd -- nothing special to anyone?

Important facts about a special woman:

è     She had suffered for 12 years.

è     She'd  spent everything she had trying to find a cure.

è     She's willing to abandon all customs and rules to seek help.

è     She is convinced of her inability to help herself and has reached a point of total desperation.

Some people are slightly embarrassed about getting too close to Jesus.

Many in the crowd saw Jesus as just another option.  The woman saw  Jesus as her only option!

1.     Jesus Never Loses You In the Crowd.

2.     Jesus Knows and Cares About Your Problem.

3.     Jesus Waits For You to Be Desperate Enough That Know He is Your Source.

"For the eyes of the Lord search back and forth across the whole earth, looking for people whose hearts are perfect toward him, so that he can show his great power in helping them."

(2 Chronicles 16:9 TLB)
