6 And they went through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. 7 And when they had come up to Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them. 8 So, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas. 9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”

B. What do u do when things don’t go as planned

Acts 16:

1. Sometimes we gotta wait & see what God is doing these r tough & on certain times, right?

i. We wait cause sometimes what God does doesn’t make any sense to us that’s why Isa wrote:

Isaiah 55:8–9 ESV
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

*God of all comfort

-Seek Godly folks who’ve been comforted

*vs 4: “so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God”

*this means that we shouldn’t isolate

10 And when Paul had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go on into Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.

d. final encouragement:

1 Thessalonians 4:13–14 ESV
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.
