The discussion strengthens and clarifies what has been learned at home. Members can bring up problems they encountered or share new insights they have discovered in scriptures.

Cell members keep a prayer list with one request for each group member on it. They pray for these needs each day until they are answered. In the meeting, the use of conversational prayer encourages a free flow of petition and thanksgiving as members pray for others.
