If You See Me Cry
Notes
Transcript
If you see me cry just know that I
Am not shedding tears because of death.
For I know we all must go
Somewhere when we gasp our last breath.
The tears you see are for the family
For the pain on their face
It can’t be hid deep within.
It must be expressed in some way
If you see me smile or laugh out loud
I mean no disrespect
In my minds eye you can say that I
Got a little glimpse
Of Dorothy Brown walking all around
God’s paradise
No pain or sorrow or strain
It’s always day and never night
