Buried Sins

My grandmother has this little white dog that is probably the ugliest, most obnoxious dog I've ever known.  Anyway, it seems that this dog has an unwavering desire to hide things all over my grandmother's house.  Every time I am over there, my grandmother gives that dog a bone, or a rubber toy, and the first thing the dog goes with it is she hides the object.

However, the funny part is that the dog can't dig in the carpet to bury the object, nor can she dig up the furniture.  So, she usually winds up half-way burying the object under a pillow or half-way under the recliner in the corner.  So every time you sit down, you either sit on a bone or a rubber toy.  The funny thing is walking into my grandmother's house and seeing all those objects sticking out everywhere the dog thinks she had them hidden.

Unlike the terrible ability of that dog to be able to cover up those objects in the furniture and the carpet, God is very able to cover the sins that we own.  He is able to correct the fact that you and I have totally missed the mark that He has set forth!
