Doubting Christians
All Christians have doubts from time to time. A woman once told Dwight L. Moody she had been saved for twenty-five years and never had a doubt.
Moody replied, “I doubt you’re saved.”
What did Moody mean by that? Well, it would be like your saying to me, “Adrian, I’ve been married twenty-five years and have never had an argument with my spouse.”
I would say to you, “I doubt you’re married.”
I am not saying that arguing with your spouse is good – not at all. And I am not saying that doubting your Lord is good – not at all. There is no need to be a doubting Christian when you can be a shouting Christian. I want to help you remove doubt and have the certainty, the assurance, of your salvation.
Doubt, faith, salvation
