Four Alls of Prayer

Paul gives us four “alls” to guide us in understanding his instructions on prayer:

1. With all prayer and petition = the scope of prayer.
2. At all times in the Spirit = the attitude of prayer
3. With all perseverance and petition = the fervency of prayer
4. For all the saints = the target of prayer
