The November 28, 2005, issue of Business Week magazine reported on the nation's top philanthropists. For example, Intel co-founder Gordon Moore and his wife have given away an average of nearly $4 million per day for the last decade. Sir John Templeton, the ninety-two-year-old founder of the Templeton Prize in science and religion, said, "What I am financing is humility. I want people to realize that you shouldn't think you know it all."
Perhaps admitting we don't know it all - that God is God and we're not-is Step One toward humility.
