Two Dads

Have you ever started something you couldn’t finish?  I think this is a trait common to human nature.  I heard of a youngster named Billy who said to his dad, “Daddy, Jimmy says that his dad has a list of men he can whip, and your name is the first one on the list.”

So Billy’s dad went and confronted Jimmy’s daddy.  “My son says you have a list of men you can whip, and my name is first on the list.  Is that right?”

“Yes, that’s right.”

“Well, you can’t do it!  What are you going to do about that?”  Billy’s dad said.

“Then I guess I’ll just have to take your name off the list,” said Jimmy’s dad.
